Our Process.

We will meet with the you/ the client to understand and develop the garden design brief, this is also our opportunity to explore their garden; experiencing and identifying any opportunities and constraints that might exist.
A Garden Design Sketchbook sets out the client brief and presents our initial design thoughts alongside a mood board to inspire the design vision. Following a period of creative sketching an illustrative masterplan is produced alongside supporting sketches and imagery.
There is also the opportunity to develop 3D imagery to give a real sense of space.
Along with the Garden Design Document a Garden General Arrangement Plan is typically produced and includes high level materials specifications. This can be shared with contractors and landscapers to assist with quotations; allowing for management of costs and if necessary any amendments to the design can be made prior to the commencement of further detailed design.
The Garden Design Sketchbook sets out the vision for the garden and is a creative foundation for the detailed design and construction that follows.

Following the approval of the garden layout at Phase One the Illustrative Garden Masterplan can be developed into a detailed masterplan. During this Phase all elements are considered and refined; material palettes and specifications, spatial arrangements and locations are all designed in detail as well the detailed planting design.

During the construction phase, we are able to attend the site for initial setting out and to advise on progress. Through careful and collaborative monitoring, we are able to ensure the correct specification and quality of the works able to respond to any issues that may arise.
Once the build is complete we can set out plants and carry out a final site review; ensuring the initial garden vision has been achieved to a high quality.
