Take a look at a selection of our recent projects, crafted with care and designed to make an impact. Each one tells a story of creativity, collaboration, and place.

  • 'A Place to Belong' - Goulston Street

Bid submission for London Festival of Architecture 2026, in collaboration with Pike Studios.

The design for the pocket park is conceived as a living expression of the area’s rich cultural and ethnic diversity. Drawing inspiration from Aldgate’s long history as a gateway of migration since medieval times, the design seeks to honour the many communities who have passed through, settled, and shaped this place.

  • Broadleaf Close Garden Design Leckhampton new build

    Broadleaf Close

The garden design for Broadleaf Close will transform the new build garden into a private oasis. Tiered levels address the levels changes in such a way that defined seating areas are formed with a level lawn and feature tree planting. Lighting and seasonal planting will elevate the garden accompanied by high quality hard materials.

The garden is due to be completed by summer 2026!

  • Chiswick Quay Garden

A private garden situated in Chiswick Marina, London. The garden is elevated above the marina with views across the water. The design is inspired by a coastal scene, with loose, drought tolerant gravel planting. A terrace and outdoor kitchen forms an inside-outside connection with the house while a secondary seating area is provided at the rear of the garden and is accessed via a meandering path with views over the marina.

  • Waterloo Barn

The garden design for Waterloo Barn was provided to assist with the full planning application for the conversion of an agricultural building into a residential dwelling.

The design sought to provide privacy from the adjacent road while protecting long distance views. The garden surrounding the dwelling sought to position the building within the landscape, making reference to its agricultural past.

  • Pitchcombe House

Mint LD was appointed by our client to develop the landscape and garden design for costing and construction. The garden design envelopes the house and traverses challenging site levels; a series of generous steps and tiered beds connect the upper level deck and garden with a lower south facing terrace. Strategic planting and contrasting hard materials enhance the new dwelling and form a series of sheltered garden spaces.

  • Towbury Hill Stables

Towbury Hill is an equestrian development for Wayfarer Eventing, home to Olympic event rider Mike Winter. Located north of Tewkesbury and within a sensitive landscape Mint LD assisted with the planning information for a new stable block and store, menage and associated access requirements and biodiversity enhancements. Following a detailed and collaborative planning process permission was granted in July 2025.

  • Cheltenham Community Garden

Mint LD assisted a local Cheltenham Community Centre with their bid for funding to revitalize existing garden spaces. This included a full site assessment, stakeholder engagement strategy, project timeline and initial concept design.

  • Hunters Barn

Hunters Barn is a private dwelling on the outskirts of Cheltenham. The garden extends to over an acre but lacked definition and interest. Mint LD worked with the client to create a garden design masterplan which incorporated improved arrival and access, connection with a proposed garage, created seasonal garden spaces, a kitchen garden and enhanced biodiversity throughout.

  • Whitelands House

Whitelands House is a new private dwelling on the outskirts of Cheltenham. Mint LD producede landscape drawings for pre application consultation and full submission. Catrin worked with the client to design a garden which compliments the surroundings and enhances existing landscape characteristics while providing accessible external spaces for a growing family.

  • Brislington Garden

A private garden in Brislington, Bristol. Our client wanted to create a green oasis where they can connect with nature. The design proposes low maintenance yet impactful planting through a mix of native and ornamental plant species and architectural tree planting. A stepping path meanders through low level planting to an enclosed seating area where the client can enjoy the evening sun.

M. Winter, Towbury Hill Stables

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Catrin on a major equestrian facility build that had hit a road block in obtaining planning permission.

It was Catrin’s imagination, attention to detail, knowledge and professional engagement that won over both the council’s planning authority as well as everyone else working on the project.

Without her passion for our project as if it was her own, I am not sure our dream would have been realised. Thank you Catrin for making our dream come true.
